Saving the Children

   My name is Pastor Anderson Thompson and my wife´s name is Elizabeth. I am from the Island of Barbados and my wife is from Bolivia. We are Missionaries to Bolivia, South America. 

    The Lord has Burdened our hearts to reach abannoned and forgotten kids who live in the streets. With God´s help, we are reaching many lives with the word of God.

    My wife worked in the emergency department of a hospital  for many years untill she felt the calling to full-time Ministry working with abused girls ages 4 to 19. She served faithfully in that ministry for 4 years. In 2005, the Lord Burdened my heart for the country of Bolivia and I took a missionary´s trip to learn more about the ministry. Over the next few years I would return durning my summer breaks from Bible College. In the 2007, I finished my Pastoral Studies and was ordained into the Ministry.

    That first year I traveled to Bolivia not knowing much Spanish, the Lord had already known that 2 years later this humble nurse would be my wife and help mate in His Ministry.   Our mission is to provide these boys and girls with the word of God and help them to become all that God has created them to be.

    This year 2009,  my wife and I have once again commited to serve in a children´s home and also help a national with his church. It has been a wonderfully blessing to see many boys who have been hooked on drugs come to know the Lord as they personal Saviour.

    We thank the Lord for everyone  who faithfully prays and supports our ministry financially.   Bolivia is a blessing, and we give our lives to the service of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and to the lives of these children.
